Question by x): How can I get more voices for window’s “Text to Speech” for free?
My computer only has one, and I need more. Preferably ones that don’t sound like an actual person is talking, like “Microsoft Anna”, the one I have. Kind of robot like I guess, but still being like a human.

Really good voices are quite expensive. There is a really good website called YAKiToMe! http://www.yakitome.com that lets you use the world’s best AT&T Natural Voices and other TTS voices for free (totally legal). However, you can’t download the voices to run them on your computer. YAKiToMe! turns any electronic text into an mp3 that you can listen to, download, share, and podcast. It works really well and the results are very listenable. Hope this works for you.
