Inquizitive asked: I use a text to speech tool, but sometimes any no. of workarounds (in the way one would type the text) do not yield the correct emotion (stress intonation) to the speech.
Is there a good tool to do that, or maybe some tips and tricks in a way one would input the text (like “any eeee” gives the desired effect in some cases) that effects the speech (any url would be helpful)

It all depends on the voice. Some voices have emotive snippets that you can invoke with SSML. Most voices, like the MS Sam free voice that comes with XP, for instance, has no emotion. I can think of 2 things you might want to do to get it to sound emotional, and neither of them is easy. First, try changing pronunciation to make funny sounds. I doubt seriously if this will sound emotional, however. Next, try changing pitch. You can do this with post-processing with a tool like Audacity. Again, it’s unlikely it’ll sound all that realistic. But it’s worth a try.
